Business continuity & unplanned infrastructure failure

Pemberton Regional Hospital
The MMU ensures patients receive quality care throughout a planned or emergency renovation.
A renovation can put a lot of strain on hospital or health clinic departments.

Thanks to the MMU’s adaptability, patients get uninterrupted quality care throughout a renovation or an unplanned infrastructure failure.

  • The space is flexible
  • It offers a range of clinical support
  • The space can be adapted to support many different department needs
When Kitimat General Hospital’s permanent ED underwent renovations in 2013, the MMU served as the temporary ED. Patients continued to receive care in their own community and staff were able to work at their usual site.
